Original. Experimenting with painting surfaces. This is masonite that has been textured with old newspaper, book pages and gesso. Then I stained with oil paint thinned with mineral spirits and splattered with gesso. Elvis was the only guy I could think of (at the moment) that could match the energy of the background.
