Original.  Last week, there was a big "Beach Body Ready" ad campaign in London.  Most the billboard-sized ads were plastered on the tube/underground walls.  I found this highly amusing.  My husband is British so we spend a good deal of time there.  I spend a lot of time standing in the underground, waiting for the trains/tube.  As you wait on the platform, there is one thing to look at:  the wall on the other side of the tracks.  If you're lucky, you can be entertained with some pretty creative ads for the museums, the telly or Westend theatre productions. Well, within a day of these signs glued to the wall, Brits reacted.  Why ? The model was a shapely woman in a little yellow bikini.  Many went to town with their black sharpie pens.  I guess crossing the train track to mark up these signs asking the question  "Are You Beach Body Ready?" was worth risking their lives.  Mass demonstrations are planned in London's Hyde Park.  Demonstrating over a bikini poster ?

Brits are not into the sun.  Their beautiful, flawless, sunless skin is the envy of the world.  This campaign belongs in Southern California where bronzing is a career.  Buy the painting.  Everybody likes to look at a pretty girl.  It's just a bit of fun.
