Original. Lovely story goes with this painting. Family we befriended whilst living in England had the opportunity of a great adventure to move to Abu Dhabi. Halloween is a geographic holiday, "geographic" meaning, not in the Middle East. When you have two chidlren under the age of ten and there are no pumpkins, you need to get creative. So mummy bought a watermelon and the rest is a good laugh. When they moved to Scotland, they were equipped with pumpkin seeds so by the time October rolled around, Ned and Ruby had a choice. This painting immortalizes that chapter in their lives.
