Original.  Good story about this painting.  Jonathan and I grab a Starbucks and enjoy our latte on a beach stroll nearly every morning.  My little Canon Elph always goes into my pocket and sometimes, I start taking pictures before I even get the lid off my coffee cup.  This particular May morning, it was nearly 80* and people were already setting up beach chairs and blankets around the beach firepits.  A family of 5 made an amazing composition.  Easily 40 pictures.  Out in the ocean distance, there was a sardine migration or something happening as a pelican feeding frenzy traveled from one end of the beach to the other.  The the pelicans that didn't dive-bomb & gulp, the hungry seagulls speared on shore.  Real great action stuff, exactly what I  L-O-V-E !  We have a paparazzi-friend who advised, as last resort, stop framing up. Just hit the button.  got it ! When home, I downloaded over 200 digitals, thanks to brainless button-hitting. The above painting is one of the photographs I captured.  You can own the painting but I am keeping the photograph !!

This is an original work of art by California artist, Nancy Tokos, member American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America.  Oil on gesso'd masonite.  Safely packaged and ready to frame but please allow 1-5 days for shipping.  Seascapes are very handsome in a wooden frame, my favorite is barnwood found at Frame USA http://www.frameusa.com/.

* colors may vary slightly between the actual painting and the image on your computer due to my digital camera settings, time of day the photogrsph is taken and the monitor you are looking at right now. *
