TOPLESS

"TOPLESS"
Original
Oil on Winton oil paper
7" x 5"
SOLD
©Nancy Tokos 2014

Original.  Sometimes the title says it all.  Enjoy painting still life every once and a while and when I do, I wonder, why has it taken me so long to do a still life ?  I always have fun.  There was a challenge with this simple setting:  Chocolate drizzling down the strawberry onto the cake.  Well, two challenges, the cupcake holder is not paper, its a thin sheet of chocolate.  Colors really are better in person.  this would look great in any kitchen.  Cadium red light brightens every corner !  To see in person, please stop by my bricks and motar studio at Liberty Station in San Diego.

This is an original work of art by California artist, Nancy Tokos, member American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America.  Oil paint on Winton oil paper.  Safely packaged and shipped via FedEx but please allow 1-5 days for shipping. Oil paintings + drawings dealing with the sea or nautical theme are very handsome in their "barnwood" frame, my favorite available at Frame USA http://www.frameusa.com/.
* colors, values, may vary slightly between the actual painting and the image on your computer due to my digital camera settings, time of day the photograph is taken and the monitor you are looking at right now. *
