Original.  Today is 18 September and this drawing was done 18 August ... two years ago.  So much has happened in past two years but the reason I am reposting this is because of the weather. Hot and humid weather is endless and we are steps from the Pacific Ocean !   I was inspired to draw this because I was 400 miles further east in the Arizona desert and it was something like 140* in the shade.  It was too hot to stand in my studio (air conditioned) but I would jump in the pool, run back in and draw a little more.  I was reminded, there was an easier way to stay cool years ago.  Highlighting with a little white chalk was an after-thought.

This is an original work of art by California artist, Nancy Tokos, member American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America.  Charcoal/graphic on toned paper.
