Original.  Halfway between Arizona and California drive on Interstate 10 is a very busy off-ramp.  It's popular because the drive to or from California is exceptionally boring.  If you have made this drive more than once, you look forward to stopping for gas and a Taco Bell or, even better, a soft ice cream at Dairy Queen.  Now to appreciate DQ, you have to be over 50 because nobody really stops in the middle of a sidewalk on a hot summer day and screams "I need a soft ice cream now !" they say something like "I need a frozen yogurt."   But DQ still serves 'em up.  A school buddy of mine from 5th grade does this drive with her husband.  Her reward for surviving the drive with him in the car for the 4 hour drive is this.
