Original.  Ever notice how life becomes comfortable and you stop trying different things ? I've been painting on canvasses that are similar aspect ratios, often a 4 X 3. Standard size, popular, and common. The above canvas is similar to the digital television aspect ratio or 16 x 9. It's absolutely wonderful for landscapes and that is exactly what I have in mind.  Except a client of mine has asked for a very wide canvas: 58" x 10".  Thank you Mrs. C for making me paint outside my comfort zone !  Now that I have done a few warm-ups (the above) I am totally ready to grow.
