Original. Experimenting with different surfaces. This is drawn mostly in charcoal and oil paint. I've taken a magazine article about the behind the scenes filming Pirates of the Caribbean and worked into the background. It's kind of a fun piece and drawing monkeys are always a holiday !
This is an original work of art by California Impressionist artist, Nancy Tokos, member American Impressionist Society and Oil Painters of America and San Diego Portrait Society. Mixed media includes charcoal stick and oil paint. The hardboard has been gesso'd with various mediums to incorporate the newspapers and magazine clippings.
