Original. Crystal Pier is a fantastic pier in San Diego California. The pier has been a popular destination since the 1920s. The unique feature are the Cottages, built in 1930, and have a history of guests "sleeping over the ocean." That would be the Pacific Ocean ! I have personally been there/done-that and if you have not, it needs to go on your bucket list ! Best nights sleep ever.
