Original. Recently, I was introduced to an inspiring female Contemporary artist, Ashley Collins. This is my tribute to her advise and encouragement to paint from the heart. Ashley works on large surfaces, 20' plus, mostly dynamic horses that thunder towards the viewer. Ashley encouraged me to really find my voice in my subject matter and "break the harness". She invited me to her gigantic studio one afternoon and I will probably never be the same. 2016 Resolution: go big or go home !
