Original. This painting was originally done for our Southwest kitchen. It has not photographed the colors as lovely as when you are in person. But it's vibrant with the cad yellow sunflowers. Original. Okay class, en Francais: La Mer. The French Riveria is very beautiful, moreso if your mode of transportation is a 300' yacht trolling the Costa Azzurra. The sea is a distinctive blue, like in this painting. You can imagine, along with me, how lovely it would be to be a child just playing in the sun.

Original. Sometimes, the title says it all. My Nikon does a good job recording the colors in this photograph but there is a slight "shine" at the top which is the work of a light source somewhere in the room and not my paint brush.

Original. My studio is very near the water, therefore, these guys are flying overhead and outside my window constantly. I could paint them all day long. There was a time when ducks, mallards specifically, used to visit our garden. They eventually made a nest and we observed them as their 9 nine chicks hatched. Then, the next day, they marched out the garden door. Towards the Thames. They used us for bed and breakfast. Then split. However, they brought us many hours of entertainment, so, no bad juju going on. They have personalities, they are monogmous, territorial and protective of whoever they decide to mate with. In comparison, the seagulls have personalities of cardboard. Do you care. The seagull is nice, even better in person, and ideal as an oil painting or charcoal painting, which this one is. Buy it.
